When you two agreed to the dinner, did his Mother mention specifically that Jeanette would not be attending? Did you ask? If so, then I can see you guys cancelling; if not--then I would call her and voice your unhappiness about it since she knows there is still a wall between her and David. But maybe she is just going to be there to visit, and nothing more....I know that seems unlikely based on the past; but maybe.
Let David make that decision, and go from there. I'm sorry it didn't just go as planned. Things must have changed at the last minute, or she would have announced it from the start. Just be thankful they didn't just surprise you when you got there and found out the hard way.......

Im so happy for your shower!!! For your throat try this. Squeeze a lime (which is the green one I think)that juice add a soup spoon of honey and drink it in the morning and before you go to bed. I know Mom didn't mean anything Wendy, she just wants you to still have the greatest time possible tomorrow--and so do I. Allen's death is something that will take time to mourn through, but I know he would never want it to take away from the joy you should be having at your shower and during these weeks leading up to the wedding day.

ahhh, moving into a place can be soo much fun, but then you see the mess you have to clean before you put all your belongings in the house. I know what you mean about things being covered in yellow-orange tar...BIG YUCK! the place i last lived in was covered in the tar stuff from them smoking. They lived at the place for like 13 years....so 13 years of tar build up. GROSS. the lady who attemted to clean the place for me, said she had to use a putty knife to scrap a layer of like human filth/tar buildup on the tub....after she told me that i filled the tub with bleach and let it sit for a week. sucks that you don't feel good...your irritated throat is probably from the bleach fumes...i'm no doctor, but hopefully it goes away soon enough for ya. I only pray for my best friends to learn what patience is.....not my family. But try to hold down your anxiousness.....I talked with the lady at the office once today, and then called back and she just said, "Are you going to call me every hour?"
She triggered the "self" in me a bit, but I let it go now. I'll talk to John when I can, but it's just a matter of time is all--I know you want it to be now, but it might just be a little later. I'll let him know I want to close tomorrow if possible, but we'll see.

Hey Wendy...I think that you may not be eating enough. Sometimes when we starve ourselves like that, our bodies go into starvation mode and want to hold onto what its got. Starving will actually slow down your metablolism. Eating the right things will actually boost your metabolism...and you'll feel good too. Have you tried weight watchers? The point counting is pretty easy to do...actually a no brainer and you could easily lose 20 pounds by the wedding...if not more !!! I lost 17 in three weeks. If you have the willpower to starve like that....you could do WW. Just think...you could lose the weight and learn a few things about your body as well. Oh Yea...don't forget the water !!! You need 8 - 8oz glasses a day !!! These are such exciting times !!!! Have fun girl !!! ~ Pam [pamcakes]

I cant say enough times how happy I am for you.... You might be losing inches and not actual weight... my mother started curves and at first she lost inches but not too much weight... But I do wish you good luck on reaching your goal...Hang in there and keep at it.... I agree with the first commenter, water is always the best... you can get some crystal light type of things that have zero claories in it and they make the water not taste like plain old water.... Congrats on only two months to go. And yes- you are beautiful just the way you are...and I'm glad that your fiance feels the same way. I'm not worrying too much about the diet. I'm just eating as healthy as I can. I did manage to have a good liquid diet today- and tomorrow I'm gonna try to eat fruits and veggies. We'll see.
You are in a little bit of a jam. You can't lose too much weight cuz of your dress and yet your motivated to look good for your fiance. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm sure that even if you lost 10 lbs the dress would still fit.
Oh yeah- I think I mentioned in one of my last entries- I'm thinking about giving up my free day. I think that it could be impeding my progress. If I'm still at 200 on Sat I'm not gonna have a free day. I'll stick to healthier foods and forget the sugar! If within the next few months I don't lose much weight I may go back on the strict phaze of the atkins diet for a couple of weeks just to get my metabolism stoked.
I hope this is easier for you. And if I come up with a good way to be satisfied and still lose weight- I will certainly let you know. I don't think that there are any miraculous ways to lose weight. I think that eating healthy every day is the way to go and to make sweets truly a 'treat'. [SteeleBlack]

I'm so sorry that you are cutting again, but, alas, I am too. Well, I find that I am starting "little" again, and working my way up. I hate that. I am gonna pray for you RIGHT NOW that somehow you will have the strength just to go a little longer without cutting. I really wish that these urges to harm yourself would go away. By your entries, and your dad's, it sounds like you are an amazing woman of God, but you're just broken in some places. I want YOU to get better, and yet I feel like a hypocrite by saying that, because I don't want to get better myself, which is weird, because who likes feeling like this? Wendy, Im sorry you dont feel things are working out as far as the meds and therapy go... I know its ahrd to keep giving it time, but thats what we have to do it con=tinue to try and give it time. Sorry to hear you are still cutting, try not to be hard on yourself about it...I will continue to pray for you. I know it is difficult with a new therapist and all, but please give it time to work, give her a chance to get to know you and you a chance to get comfortable with her... Maybe you can tell her you would like her to ask you things to get the ball rolling... justa thought... I read your other diary entry, In time my dear in time all the things you want will come to you, the Lord promises...Plus Good things come to those who wait....And you deserve nothing but the best in all aspects of your life!!! Thanks for letting us know where things are with teh meds right now...And yes soemtimes it can take 2 or more weeks for things to start working...they ahve to get built up in your system...Although with the trazadone, you should be sleeping better with that, maybe you need an increase in doseage...I would let your therappist know that so far they meds dont seem to be helping, maybe she can facilitate between you and the doctor... The therapist will take time, relax. The medication will take time, relax. My son has started meds for his aspergers. It has taken about 8 weeks for us to really see the difference. We started noticing a slight difference at around week 4-5. And a long time ago I was on antidepressents and found the same thing. Chill out, it will be okay.[Susans]

Wow. Thanks for sharing and it's good to get it out. Cars are the devil you have to have, I hate them. And a few months back my car floated away in a massive storm. Although we got insurance on the car we lost over a thousand worth of belongings including all my years school notes and usb drive, my prescription glasses worth several hundred dollars, my brand new mobile phone, my wallet and so on and so on, it was awful horrid. But at the end of the day you still need to find a way to think, thank God Im ok. I know, it sux totally, cars sux totally. Hang in there. It isn't nearly as important as your life and it can be replaced. [Susans]

I have terrible self esteem and body image... I had an ex that was alll about the dirty mags, I truly disliked the way that mademe feel... like I was not good enough etc... So I can sympathize with you on that issues... sometimes men can be such jerks!!! I hope things turn around for you, I pray they do.... Other than that how are things going? You have to make an account on imeem first, then when you have found the song you want...you click on it. Then you highlight the box that says embed in your blog, Website, ect.. and click copy, and then you have to mark the little box beside it that says auto play. Now after all that, you come back to your entry, click on the symbol that looks like this <> and then paste and before you hit this symbol again <> change the numbers "300" and "80" to "0"...and that makes the player dissapear! Wendy, When I got really depressed a few years ago it was mainly due to what others said about me once I started secondary school. I was thrown into an uncomfortable situation and didn't know how to deal with it. Thankfully things are getting better for me and they will for you too. If only those at school knew what they were doing, how much pain they were causing and what we have to offer. Things will get better, I can understand how strange it must be telling all your problems to a stranger. It would be difficult for anyone to express their true emotions to someone whom they do not know. I hope the sleeping pills work and the anti-depressants too! Dear Wendy,
How my heart goes out to you. One thing that really helps in all this is that there is a "reason", a reaction, a progression and a recognisable journey to where you are now. I am so glad you have two professionals taking care of the different sides of your deep depression.
There are parts of your journey thus far I relate to. Taunting at school was a familiar experience for me also; I know where that can take a person. Whilst my coping mechanisms were different, you have my understanding on that point. This might seem like an age in terms of the time you have felt this low, but I have really high hopes and expectations from this you know, you are taking some wonderful steps towards addressing your feelings and experiences and given time and the combination of the therapy and the medications you have been prescribed, in addition to some prayer and support around you, I really believe these things will culminate towards healing. Hold onto that.

Glad to see you got to write finally, but sorry it was sooooooo late. Don't forget, my skin stuff sounds like it's probably not a big deal--and the surgeon said they will be able to correct Mom's rhythm problem for good--so you don't have to spend too much time fussing over us.
Michael John will be okay, too; and the babies still have our family as a steady influence in their young lives. Cassy was diagnosed early, and her prognosis was said to be very good--so she should be fine,too. As for work, that's just a job. Like I always have said, if money's the biggest of your problems--you're in pretty good shape...
Hope you got some sleep after writing this, and the babies didn't make any noise that we heard....so they didn't keep you up; right? It's going to be different with them sleeping over, but time with them is always cool in my book. Except for Lilly, why does she have to want me to change every diaper......and the nannygranny loves it; that's what gets me the most....
